This is an excellent stand alone Voice Recorder app!
It can be used instead of the iPhone or iPod touch stock voice memo app because of its extra features

This voice recorder has some great features:
• compatible with older iOS and new
•save audio in different file formats (for compatibility
•QUICK app Load Time
• ability to "open in" saved audio file in other applications (great for bulk file transfer options like backup of large audio files)
•simple and easy to use!
•cost effective at one dollar for just the voice memo app (there are more & different apps by this developer with more and different features)

I have spent time and effort downloading close to 50 and trying out approx. 35 other audio and voice memo/recorder apps looking mostly for just one thing. A voice recorder that lets me "open in" my saved voice memos. This very handy to me for back up purposes of my important recordings.
Many of the other apps I tried crash, had slow loading times, didnt work properly, or simply did not have the "open in" function. (Not including incompatible apps that could not be tried. Due to the fact that i use an older iOS)
This recorder app Does Everything I Wanted! and I now use it instead of the iPhone default voice memo app)
